The QNUK Level 1 Award in Fire Awareness at Work (RQF) qualification is intended for employees that are required to undertake training in fire awareness at work. the qualification has been developed to meet the training requirements outlined in best practice guidance.

The QNUK - Level 2 Award in Fire Safety for Fire Marshals (RQF) qualification is intended for those that are undertaking the role of a fire marshal in a workplace. The qualification builds on the QNUK Level 1 Award in Fire Awareness at Work (RQF) and includes safe evacuation and personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPS).

QNUK - Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (RQF) qualification is aimed at those working in a construction environment who should have suitable knowledge of best health and safety practice.

The QNUK Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF) qualification is the ideal introduction to understanding the principles of health and safety in the workplace. This qualification is typically undertaken by those with no previous qualifications or experience of health and safety. The qualification is perfect for young adults as a part of an alternative curriculum, or by those entering or re-entering the workforce.

The QNUK Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF) qualification is aimed at all employees, or those looking to enter/re-enter the workforce. Health and safety training is a requirement in workplaces and this qualification enables learners to identify and understand the most common workplace hazards.

The QNUK Level 2 Award in Preventing Violence in the Workplace (RQF) qualification is for those working in environments where they are likely to have to deal with aggressive individuals.

Examples may include those working in service industries or retail. The qualification is not for those that are likely to have to intervene in violent situations.

The QNUK Level 2 Award in Principles of COSHH (RQF) qualification is for those working in environments where the use of hazardous substances is an identified risk.

The qualification introduces the principles of working with substances classified under COSHH.

The QNUK Level 2 Award in Principles of Workplace Risk Assessment (RQF) qualification is for anyone looking to improve their knowledge related to health and safety risk assessments, or looking to support competent risk assessors.

The qualification is ideally aimed at employees looking to take on more health and safety responsibilities.

The QNUK Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF) qualification is aimed at those in a supervisory role.

While undertaking the qualification, candidates will learn more about the common workplace hazards and controls, risk assessment and health and safety management in general.

The QNUK Level 3 Award in Workplace Risk Assessment (RQF) qualification is those looking to develop the knowledge and skills to be able to undertake suitable and sufficient workplace risk assessments.

Candidates will be assessed on completing a workplace risk assessment and reporting on their findings.

The QNUK Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling at Work(RQF) qualification is for those at work that require an understanding of the hazards associated with manual handling and how these can best be avoided.

The programme is typically delivered over a half-day and with no practical assessment provides just the knowledge element.

This may be more suited to those with existing injuries or those that cannot undertake practical tasks.

The QNUK Level 2 Award in Manual Handling Loads at Work (RQF) qualification is for those at work that require an understanding of the hazards associated with manual handling and how these can best be avoided.

The programme is typically delivered over a day.

The assessment includes practical elements as well as the knowledge element found in the QNUK Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling at Work.

The QNUK Level 2 Award in Principles ofCustomer Service (RQF) qualification is intended for those that are entering employment, and are looking to enter a customer service role.

The qualification introduces the principles of good customer service.

The QNUK Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People (RQF) qualification is intended for anyone working with children or young people. this may be in a paid or voluntary role.

The qualification covers all of the elements of shorter “awareness” courses but also includes information on what to do with a disclosure and how to protect yourself from allegations.

The QNUK Level 2 Award in Safeguarding Adults in Health and Social Care (RQF) qualification is intended for those that are working in, or are looking to start work in health and social care.

The qualification introduces the key principles associated with safeguarding adults at risk in a health and social care setting.

The QNUK Level 2 award in Positive Handling in Schools (RQF) qualification is for those working in with children and young people where the risks of challenging behaviour may require the use of reasonable force.

This qualification introduces the legalities of positive handling.

The QNUK Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support (Adults and Children) (RQF) qualification is for those that are interested in, or are required to attend annual training in basic life support.

While some candidates may be interested in undertaking this qualification for personal development, those working in a GP or dentist surgery may attend to meet industry requirements.

The QNUK Level 3 Award in Activity First aid (RQF) qualification is for those requiring a first aid qualification to support their role as a sports coach or instructor.

The qualification builds on the Emergency first aid at work qualification, to include core common injuries found in sorting activities.

The QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First aid at Work (RQF) is the most popular first aid qualification. The Emergency First aid at work qualification is the choice of many employers to ensure they are meeting the requirements of the Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations

The QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is ideal for those employers that need to meet the minimum requirement of first aid regulations - typically those working in shops, offices and other low risk environments.

The QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) is aimed at those working in an early years setting who require a first aid qualification for emergency paediatric first aid.

The QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First aid (RQF) meets the requirements for those working in an early years setting, however, the setting should ensure that they also have suitable numbers of staff with a ‘2 day’ qualification such as the QNUK Level 3 Award in Paediatric First aid (RQF)

The QNUK Level 3 Award in First aid (Annual Refresher) (RQF) qualification is for those that hold a current First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, who are in need of an annual refresher as recommended in the Health and Safety (First aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.

Please note, this qualification is intended to ensure candidates maintain their skills during their qualification period. This is not a re-qualification, qualification.

The QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) qualification is for those undertaking the role of a first aider in the workplace. The QNUK Level 3 Award in First aid at Work (RQF) has been developed in conjunction with other AOs and supports employers to meet their requirements under the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981. (NI 1982)

The QNUK Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) qualification is aimed at those working in an early years setting who require a paediatric first aid qualification to meet the early years foundation stage requirements.

The QNUK Level 3 Award in Paediatric First aid (RQF) is seen as the most common qualification for early years practitioners and is delivered over 2 days.

The QNUK Level 3 Award in Responding to Anaphylactic Reactions (RQF) qualification is for those that require additional training in basic life support and management of anaphylaxis. Many attendees are those working in environments that support children that may be at risk of severe allergic reactions, for example those working in nurseries and other early years settings.

The qualification has also been designed as the perfect add-on to standard first aid courses such as the QNUK Level 3 Award in Paediatric First aid (RQF)

QNUK Level 3 Award in Responding to Incidents with an AED (RQF)

This qualification is aimed those wishing to understand the laws that pertain to the use of force and self-defence within a security setting.
