With around two million ladders in daily use across the UK, the Ladder Association (TLA) is home to all the vital guidance and training needed to help ensure work at height is as safe as possible.

People using ladders can also benefit from our long established training scheme. Courses for all levels of ladder user help keep everyone safe, and help demonstrate the competence required by law.

This course is aimed at personnel who are or will be responsible for the formal inspection of Ladders and Step Ladders in the work place. Delegates are required to attend and successfully pass the LA Ladder & Step Ladder User Course prior to attending the Inspection Course.

Ideal for:

This course is aimed at personnel who are or will be responsible for use and formal inspection of Ladders and Step Ladders in the work place. There are no prerequisites required for this course although a working knowledge of ladders is an advantage.

TLA - Steps and Stepstools for Users

Ideal for:

A half-day course designed for those who use stepladders and step stools in the course of their day to day work. Ideal for those who work in supermarkets, shops, offices, schools and the civil service. Ladder Association Training courses are part of a national training scheme for users, supervisors and managers wanting to equip themselves with the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to use ladders legally and safely. Successful candidates receive a photo card and certificate on completion.
