The core Safety Health and Environmental Awareness scheme is designed for all individuals who require access to operational sites, both permanent and temporary, including all levels of operatives, supervisors and management. A SHEA Core card lasts for three years from the date of training.

The Safety Health and Environmental Awareness Water scheme is designed for all individuals involved in the operational activities of the water industry who require access to sites, both permanent and temporary, including all levels of operatives, supervisors and management. A SHEA Water card lasts for three years from the date of training.
Ideal for:
The EUSR - National Water Hygiene scheme is suitable for any person working on a restricted operations area at sites such as service reservoirs, water pumping stations, water treatment works, wells, springs and boreholes or working on the network of water mains and service pipes must be in possession of a National Water Hygiene card. The same training package is delivered to both direct employees of water companies, and all contractors that work on the restricted operations sites including self-lay organisations working on new developments.
The registration and card lasts for three years from date of training and provides on-site evidence that an individual has demonstrated an appropriate level of knowledge and awareness with regards to hygiene issues. It is also a prerequisite for many other industry competence requirements and EUSR registration schemes.

The telecommunications scheme is designed for all individuals involved in the operational activities of the telecommunications industry who require access to sites, both permanent and temporary, including all levels of operatives, supervisors and management. A SHEA Telecommunications card lasts for three years from the date of training.
SHEA Telecommunications comprises of seven modules. The six core modules are common to all utility industries and form the basis of health, safety and environmental law and practices. A further one module providing the telecommunications industry specific content, all individuals will need to complete all seven modules to receive the SHEA Telecommunications registration. It is designed to provide evidence that an individual has demonstrated an appropriate level of knowledge and awareness. It is a passport scheme and does not indicate any level of technical competence or skilled expertise.
