NOCN - NOCN Group

NOCN Group is an educational charity whose core aims are to help learners reach their potential and organisations thrive. The group includes business units specialising in regulated UK and international qualifications, End Point Assessment, Access to Higher Education, assured short courses, SMART job cards, assessment services, consultancy, and research.

NOCN is at the forefront of vocational skills development and apprenticeships, including the introduction of the Apprenticeship Levy in the UK. NOCN is the only awarding body in the UK which specialises in productivity and is focussed on increasing the UKs competitiveness globally. We are one of the UKs largest awarding organisation in the construction sector, and we are committed to working for a better future for UK construction skills, via our sub-brands Cskills Awards and CPCS (Job Cards).

NOCN acquired Cskills Awards from the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) in 2017 creating the UKs second largest construction AO. The move has greatly reassured the market by guaranteeing its ability to meet the challenges ahead with increased and enhanced skills.

CSkills has a peerless reputation in the construction sector, delivering a wide range of qualifications from Entry Level to Level 7 and now as part of NOCN Group delivers some 4,000 apprenticeships a year. It also created a stronger, added-value range of approved qualifications and a more diverse product offering to meet the needs of employers. This includes extensive construction qualifications from license to practice to professional development, English and Maths Functional Skills and the new T Level technical qualifications from autumn 2019.
