Engineering-Construction Qualifications

These qualifications are for those employed in carrying out and monitoring works on the highway and cover a range of skills from those who need to safeguard their work by signing lighting and guarding to carrying out excavation and re-instatement work. They are available for both operators and supervisors.

These qualifications provide routes to registration or re-registration on the Street Works Qualifications Register (SWQR) required under the New Roads and Streetworks Act 1991. Re-registration is required every 5 years.

CCNSG Leading a Team Safely is a one day workshop designed to provide an essential introduction to managing small teams within the context of Health and Safety in the Engineering Construction Industry.

The CCNSG Leading a Team Safely course is designed for supervisory staff and lone workers who have a responsibility for teams.

The CCNSG Renewal Course is designed as a one day refresher course for those who have already passed the CCNSG National Course. This has to be taken within three months of the Safety passport expiry date. If it is not taken within the specified time then the two day CCNSG National Course will have to be retaken.

The CCNSG National Course is a two day course for basic site safety. The CCNSG National Course is valid for three years from the date of the course.

This course is aimed at any personnel working on engineering construction work sites.

It gives delegates a grounding in all aspects of site safety and personal awareness.
