ALLMI - The Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers and Importers

The Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers and Importers (ALLMI) was founded in 1978 at the request of the Health and Safety Executive, and it remains today as the UKs only Trade Association devoted exclusively to the lorry loader industry.

It serves, represents and promotes the interests of its members and the industry at large, and it is the natural focus and authority on all issues involving the design, manufacture, application and use of lorry loaders.

ALLMI - Slinger Signaller

Ideal for:

The ALLMI Slinger / Signaller course content is very comprehensive and so cardholders are able to use their skills when performing Slinger / Signaller duties with other types of lifting equipment, not just lorry loaders. The Slinger / Signaller course consists of 13 modules. The course duration is one day for experienced candidates and a minimum of two days for novice candidates. A maximum of four candidates can attend a course. Both courses culminate in a written and practical examination.

ALLMI - Operator course

Ideal for:

The ALLMI Operator course consists of 15 modules and is either one or two days in duration (depending on whether the candidate is a novice or experienced operator). Both the one and two day courses culminate in a written and practical examination. ALLMI is notified (by the instructor) of all courses in advance of the training taking place (via ALLMI´s online registration system), so that unannounced instructor audits can be carried out.
