3 x Practical assessments, 2 x Skills tests, 3 x Learner workbooks, 2 x Invigilated exams and continuous formative assessments conducted throughout the course.

Immediate Life Support (Adult) practical assessment

Assessment and treatment of trauma practical assessment

Physiological observations skills test

Assisting with clinical interventions skills test

Immobilisation and extrication equipment skills test

Formative assessments - a range of informal assessment procedures employed by the Trainer/Assessor during the learning process to measure each Learners knowledge, skills and understanding related to the assessment criteria

Assignments - 3 workbooks (1 per component) to be completed throughout the programme (off course)

Invigilated exam - 2 to be completed throughout the course:

ECG recognition has 100% pass mark and a time limit of 15 minutes to complete

Anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and applied practice has 70% pass mark every question and a time limit of 45 minutes to complete.
