How long does it take?

No previous experience in health and well-being is required but candidates should note the assessment includes a requirement to write a short report.

Prevention and management of work related stress

Management of people with musculoskeletal disorders

Dealing with mental health at work.

The syllabus is based on recognised best practice in management of health in the workplace.

The syllabus is divided into two units:

Unit 1: Managing Health and Well-being in the Workplace, assessed via written examination.

Unit 2: Practical assessment based on identification of workplace health and wellbeing issues in your own workplace.

A unit certificate is issued denoting successful achievement of each unit.

A certificate award parchment is issued on successful completion of both units.
