These include hazards and risks, the control of fire risk, principles and practice of fire safety management at work and the role of the nominated fire warden.

To complete this qualification, learners should expect to undertake 6 hours of guided learning.

How is the Highfield - Level 2 Award in the Principles of Fire Safety course assessed?

This qualification is assessed by a 45 minute multiple-choice examination, where the learners must answer 12 out of 20 questions correctly to pass.

The total qualification time (TQT) for this qualification is 7 hours and of this 6 hours are recommended as guided learning hours.
