Beginners Level Fire Qualifications.

FAA - Award in Fire Safety.

Ideal for:

The qualification is suitable for a learner who has responsibility in the workplace to undertake fire safety requirements and will provide learners with the knowledge to carry out designated duties as a Fire Warden/Marshall. The qualification will also increase fire safety awareness for all employees.

The qualification covers fire hazards, risk assessment, control of fire in the workplace and duties of both employers and employees.

FAA - Award in Fire Safety Awareness.

Ideal for:

The qualification is an ideal introduction into fire safety awareness for employees and a strong basis for undertaking further fire safety training.

The qualification provides learners with an understanding of the key principles of fire safety from cause to prevention and response.

Highfield - Level 2 Award in the Principles of Fire Safety (RQF).

Ideal for:

The Highfield Level 2 Award in the Principles of Fire Safety (RQF) qualification is aimed at anyone involved in the management of fire safety in any workplace. This includes managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals) and staff working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire.

Learners gaining this qualification will know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace and will recognise the consequences of fire in any premises.

IFE - Fire Marshal.

Ideal for:

Designed for all levels of staff who have the responsibility for Fire Marshal / Fire Warden and who may need to safely operate fire extinguishers
IFE - Fire Extinguisher User.

Ideal for:

Designed for all levels of staff who may need to safely operate fire extinguishers.
IFE - Fire Safety Awareness.

Ideal for:

Designed for all levels of staff who have fire safety responsibilities and who may need to safely operate fire extinguishers.
IOSH - Fire Safety Awareness.

Ideal for:

IOSH Fire Safety Awareness is for people at any level, in any sector worldwide, who need a grounding in the essentials of fire safety.

ProTrainings - Fire Safety Awareness Level 1.

Ideal for:

This level 1 course is aimed at anyone who requires a course in fire safety. The course is designed to meet and comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. It covers regulations, the fire triangle, evacuation, fire equipment, good housekeeping, the law, training requirements, calling the fire service, fire doors, smoke alarms, risk assessing and precautions.
QNUK - Level 1 Award in Fire Awareness at Work (RQF).

Ideal for:

The QNUK Level 1 Award in Fire Awareness at Work (RQF) qualification is intended for employees that are required to undertake training in fire awareness at work. the qualification has been developed to meet the training requirements outlined in best practice guidance.

QNUK - Level 2 Award in Fire Safety for Fire Marshals (RQF).

Ideal for:

The QNUK - Level 2 Award in Fire Safety for Fire Marshals (RQF) qualification is intended for those that are undertaking the role of a fire marshal in a workplace. The qualification builds on the QNUK Level 1 Award in Fire Awareness at Work (RQF) and includes safe evacuation and personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPS).

QA - Level 2 Award in Fire Safety.

Ideal for:

This qualification is for anyone who has a specific responsibility for fire safety in the workplace. It is suitable to:

  • Qualify fire wardens/fire marshals
  • Provide a foundation of fire safety knowledge on which employers and responsible persons can build
  • Increase the fire safety knowledge of all employees
ROSPA - Fire Safety for Fire Wardens Marshalls.

Ideal for:

This occupational health and safety training course is designed to introduce delegates to the identification and control of fire risks. It is suitable for people with responsibility for fire safety - fire wardens and fire marshalls, as well as line managers, supervisors and safety representatives.
Unaccredited - Fire Marshal.

Ideal for:

This course is designed for all members of staff. The aim of the  course is to give staff a greater understanding of the fire risks in the   workplace and be able to evacuate the premises effectively.   Participants will learn about fire, the way in which it spreads and  the  best way to tackle a fire. 

An understanding of fire safety risks and how to prevent them will be  gained. Candidates will learn how to  use fire extinguishers correctly  during the course.

Intermediate Level Fire Qualifications.

IOSH - Fire Safety for Managers.

Ideal for:

IOSH Fire Safety for Managers is designed for managers and supervisors in any sector, and any organisation worldwide, who require an awareness of fire safety. They won't suddenly become fire safety experts - but they'll get up-to-speed on the practical actions they need to take, and gain the knowledge and tools to tackle the relevant fire safety issues they're responsible for. Importantly, Fire Safety for Managers makes a powerful case for fire safety being an integral part of day-to-day management and business.

NEBOSH - National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management.

Ideal for:

The NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management is suitable for Managers and supervisory staff who need to ensure that their organisation meets its responsibilities under fire safety legislation.

Courses leading to this qualification should equip holders to carry out fire risk assessments of most low risk workplaces and identify the range of fire protective and preventative measures required. It is therefore also suitable for people moving into fire safety adviser roles.

No previous health and safety or fire safety knowledge is required although it should be noted that the assessment includes a requirement to write a short report.

NEBOSH - International Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management .

Ideal for:

The NEBOSH International Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management is for people throughout the world with fire safety responsibilities at work, particularly those tasked with carrying our fire risk assessments and preventing loss of life and property.

Crucially, the practical element of the course also ensures that participants can carry out, unaided, a fire risk assessment and prepare a recommendations report for management.
