The RTITB Forklift Training Course Counterbalance Conversion Operator course is designed for those with an existing qualification in one category, but requires either a different type of machine or a different licence within the same machine type e.g. B1 Counterbalance licence (up to 5 tonnes) being converted to include the B2 Counterbalance licence (5-15 tonnes). Our open courses provide training on a counterbalance forklift up to a 5000 kg lifting capacity.
The RTITB B1-Rider Counterbalance Forklift Truck including 5 tonne course certificate has 3 years validity.

This course is for operators with little or no previous experience using a counterbalance forklift truck - the RTITB course complies with the standards set in accordance with the HSE Code of Practice L117. This course enables successful operators to use any counterbalance forklift up to a 5000 kg lifting capacity (with authorisation) anywhere in the UK.
