The IPAF - Mobile Vertical 3a - Operator course contains a mix of theory and practical training, this course is designed to instruct an operator to prepare and safely operate mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) in the category Mobile Vertical (3a) and to obtain an IPAF MEWP Operators Licence (PAL Card).
The IPAF - Mobile Vertical 3a - Operator course is for those who use, supervise or manage the use of powered access, including scissor lifts, self-propelled boom lifts, trailer mounted boom lifts and aerial work platforms. Those who need to use only one category of powered access equipment should attend a Single Category course and those who need to use two categories of powered access equipment should attend the 3a + 3b course.
