The aim of the 18th Edition Update Course is to update your existing knowledge of the Wiring Regulations and inform you of the changes made from the 17th Edition Amendment 3 to the 18th Edition. This 18th Edition qualification will be essential if you want to join a Government Approved Part P Scheme Provider. Every installation from January 2019 will need to be designed in line with the 18th Edition wiring regulations. As this is an open book exam, you will need to ensure that you have a copy of the up to date IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition BS7671 2018.
If you have passed your 17th edition (C&G 2382-15) since the last amendment was published then you can take this shorter 1 day 18th edition update course.
Please be aware that there is no ‘short exam’ to update your 17th Edition to 18th Edition - you will still be required to sit the full 60 question, 2 hour exam.
