  • Demonstrate how to administer first aid to a choking casualty who is:

How is the QNUK - Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support (Adults and Children) (RQF) course assessed?

Candidates are assessed for this qualification using the following methods:

  • Practical observation

Candidates are required to demonstrate capabilities in performing Basic life Support as they would in an emergency situation, therefore, candidates will need to be able to work on the floor - for example, as with CPR.

This qualification is available to those over 16 years. Candidates should be at least a level 2 numeracy and literacy or equivalent
